One year in New York City

Coming to New York has always been the dream, the ultimate goal. I always imagined what it'd be like to live in the Big apple, the concrete jungle- as they call it; but never ever thought I'd be lucky enough to call this incredible city my home.

New York has certainly lived up all expectations and beyond and 14 months later I'm still only just scratching the surface. I know people say it all the time, but I honestly don't know where the time went. I've met incredible people and made lifelong friends and most importantly I've learned so much -both professionally and personally.

Moving here not knowing anyone was a bold move but I have truly embraced the city life and never looked back. It has been the most challenging but also the most rewarding experience of my life to date. The city has so much to offer and I still pinch myself as I walk down the streets of Manhattan and am in awe everyday and still get excited about exploring.

This experience has made me want to see more of the world, travel often, be open to experiences, aim higher and work hard. With the city full of hustlers constantly grinding to make it, its definitely made me realize that all your goals in life are achievable if you put your mind & heart to it.

Thanks for having me- you'll be a tough act to follow but for now, Au Reviour New York city.
