London Fashion Week interning...

Sitting in Costa sipping my hot chocolate first thing Friday morning, resembling a walking zombie, I prepared myself for what was to be an exciting yet a very looong day. Today I was going to be working for Sadie Clayton at the London Fashion week.

Backstage was overcrowded with the excitement and energy of the models, hair, makeup and production team all on standby mode -counting down minutes until the start of the show. I was completely blown away by the intricate detailing on the garments in the collection. The photos do absolutely no justice as to how heavily embellished and well made these garments are.

Prior to the show, I had to go from A to B all around London handing out last minute invites. It was honestly the worst task i've has to do as an intern; extremely time consuming and tiring. I wanted to jump into bed and get someone to rub my foot by the end of it. The weather wasn't much of a help, as per.. but whats London fashion week without the traditional British downpour?
Regardless, the combo of being surrounded by beautiful garments, like minded fashion frenzy people, and the overall vibe of the show itself is something truly worth experiencing as an intern. Fortunately, i've got one more show that i'm working for on Tuesday before it all comes to an end for another season..
Till next time!
